A recent version of my curriculum vitae in Portable Document Format and the LaTeX source used to create it.
I am an MS student at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Boğaziçi University. I received a BS degree from the same department in 2006. I was once a graduate student at the Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering Department of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I am with the Boğaziçi University Signal and Image Processing Lab (BUSIM) since September 2007, working under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Murat Saraçlar.
My work usually falls within the following areas:
- Statistical Natural Language Processing
- Large Vocabulary Continuous Speech Recognition (LVCSR)
- Spoken Term Detection (STD)
- Statistical and Information Theoretic Methods in Learning
with an emphasis on discriminative methods for LVCSR and STD.
